Kelso. On marriage. Really.

I was prepared to be all disparaging about this Parade article in which Ashton Kutcher hands out marriage advice. But it turns out that I really liked what he had to say:

"The real trick is putting yourself around people you admire. That's why I married my wife. I locked in the brightest light in the room. My wife and I have an agreement in our marriage, and part of that contract is that we are going to shine our lights on each other. My relationship with Demi is so solid, thank God, and we're so communicative about the way that we're feeling that we don't allow space to come between us. I definitely believe that if you stop working at relationships, they go away."

Rest of the article is pretty much what you'd expect from Kutcher. But that's what makes gems like this one so unexpected and priceless, isn't it?

Finger on the Pulse

For the record, we recorded the episode on Monday. On Tuesday, Ron sent me this.

Since the whole world seems to be revolving around Zooey Deschanel now (she issued the elimination challenge on Top Chef Masters last night, too), it's probably more about the buzz (500) Days of Summer is creating. But I choose to read it as a sign that The Podd Couple may be onto something.
